Challenge

Balance heritage with innovation.

Legacy automakers often lean too heavily on history when entering EV markets, making them appear slow. At the same time, abandoning heritage risked alienating long-time customers. Blackwell needed to reposition without contradiction, convincing both loyalists and new buyers.

Legacy automakers often lean too heavily on history when entering EV markets, making them appear slow. At the same time, abandoning heritage risked alienating long-time customers. Blackwell needed to reposition without contradiction, convincing both loyalists and new buyers.

Solution

Create a visual and digital system that signals motion and progress.

We streamlined Blackwell’s brand identity into a sharper, kinetic system. The website introduced interactive configurators and range simulations, while campaign storytelling fused historical milestones with EV innovation. The central line “Drive Forward” became a bridge between tradition and progress.

The 3D configurator achieved a 74% completion rate, far exceeding the industry average. The launch was spotlighted in Adweek’s Top Automotive Launches 2025.
